Hi, I’m the Grandpa Bracey a.k.a. Vinyl Goblin (DJ name)—Welcome to my Lair! Music has always been more than a hobby—it’s a dream I’m chasing. I’m building toward a full DJ setup, but for now I love curating eclectic mixes from soul, blues, jazz, and pop. One day, I’d love to host my own radio station, broadcasting my shelves out into the world.

Setup Breakdown

Vinyl Goblin’s setup bridges the gap between old-school hi-fi and DJ aspirations.

At the heart of his setup are two Audio-Technica LP120XUSB turntables, the kind of workhorses DJs swear by. Backed by an Edifier speaker system, a JVC tape deck, and his long-time Sony CD player, the system flows easily between formats.

Storage cubes keep his LPs and 78s in rotation, while an original RCA 45 player from 1949 anchors the collection with a piece of history.

Oh and of course there is Wallace, keeping a watchful eye over the entire listening atmosphere.
