Email Signups

2) Builder Data and Public Build Links

Recordbuilds provides a Builder tool that helps users plan vinyl setups and save, edit, share, and publish builds.

When you use Builder, we may collect and store:

  • selected components such as turntables, speakers, amps, preamps, and related gear
  • build preferences and filters
  • build metadata such as titles, descriptions, and visibility settings
  • build IDs, share links, profile associations, and related identifiers
  • engagement data such as votes, comments, forks, and similar interactions

If you create or share a public build, anyone with access to the public page or link may be able to view that build. Public builds may also appear in community pages, profile pages, directories, featured sections, rankings, or similar surfaces on the Service.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in build names, notes, custom fields, descriptions, comments, or uploaded images.

3) Public Profiles, Public Content, and Community Visibility

Some features of the Service allow you to make content public, including profiles, builds, comments, votes, profile images, cover images, and related community content.

If you choose to make content public, you understand that it may be:

  • visible to other users and visitors
  • displayed across community pages, public profiles, feeds, featured sections, directories, badges, rankings, and similar surfaces
  • indexed or cached by search engines
  • viewed, copied, shared, or saved by other people
  • highlighted, reposted, excerpted, screenshot, or promoted by Recordbuilds in connection with the Service, emails, social media, or marketing materials

Public content should be treated as public. Do not post information you want to keep private or confidential.

4) Analytics, Advertising, and Measurement

We use analytics and advertising-related tools to understand usage, improve the Service, measure campaign performance, and support growth.

  • enforce our Terms of Service, Builder Terms, contest rules, and other policies

  • moderation notices
  • profile or community-related notifications

If you delete content or close your account, some information may remain in backups, logs, archives, or records for a period of time.
