Love Music Love Wine: Curated Music Experiences Paired with Wine (and Coffee)

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with Dre—the mastermind behind Love Music Love Wine. Honestly, I have heard of similar concepts before, but after diving deeper into what he’s doing, it’s pretty damn awesome.

It did have me seriously asking myself: “Can your favorite music actually taste better?”

Music Paired with Wine, Coffee, and…Scotch Whisky?

Dre’s got this unique thing going where he pairs specific music genres (think jazz, funk, or timeless classics) with thoughtfully chosen wines, coffees, and occasionally even scotch whisky. At first glance, it seemed a little random, but the vibes were undeniably…immaculate.

The core idea is creating relaxed, immersive sensory experiences right in your own home. Imagine your favorite Sunday morning playlist matched with your coffee ritual, or a Friday night jazz session paired with a glass of wine you’ve never tried before. It’s all about elevating your listening (and tasting) into something deeper.

Livestreams & Online Events: The Good Stuff

Dre hosts regular livestream sessions that cover everything from mellow Sunday mornings (“Beans & Beats”) to evening classics, funk, jazz, and pretty much anything soulful or groovy. Each session is like hanging out with that cool uncle who has great music taste and knows exactly what drink will amplify your mood.

Each livestream runs for a couple hours, perfect for relaxing, working from home, or just chilling out.
I ran a few in the background while working.

If you miss the livestreams or just want to explore his past sessions, he’s got them archived:

  • On YouTube (check it out here): Great for diving into the visual vibe.
  • On Mixcloud (follow here): This is Dre’s go-to for sharing his sets, and it’s probably the easiest place to dive into the music directly.
  • He also launched a Substack newsletter (subscribe here), where he shares more personal insights, upcoming events, and special curated content. Definitely worth subscribing if you’re into getting a heads-up about his next sessions.

Final Verdict: Is It Worth Checking Out?

Honestly? It’s a no-brainer at least to try. Dre’s built something genuinely cool and unique here. I am just personally a big fan of live streaming music whether it is a live concert or a person doing it from his personal studio. If you love music and especially you’re open to pairing it with wine, coffee, or whisky in a meaningful way, I definitely recommend checking it out.

I’ll be dropping in whenever I can—and you should too.

All of Dre’s content and upcoming events are on his website.
