About Calie

Hi, I’m Calie-welcome to my favorite place in the world! Music has always been an outlet for when I can’t find the way to express how I’m feeling. Since I was a little girl, I’ve always gravitated towards music from video games, movies and the radio. I’ve proudly become the “music person” in my family and in my friend group. I’m designated DJ everytime! 

My first record was The 1975’s Self Titled album that I got for Christmas in 2016.  I’m now closing in on 400 records and still chasing that feeling. I live for indie/alternative music with a pop streak. Some of my favorite artists that are regularly in rotation would be: Twenty Øne Piløts, 5SOS, Cage the Elephant, Inhaler, Last Dinosaurs, and Wallows. 

One of the best parts of collecting records is the way you display your favorite artists work! It’s like an art gallery for musicians in your room! I’ll always make room for a great poster or tiny figurine to add layers to my little oasis.

I encourage everyone to listen to music-whatever kind speaks to you-because you never know how it might help you heal or bring back memories you thought you’d lost 😊
